FREE Procurement training: Let’s Get Started workshop with Melanie Bryan, WhyNotChange
Tuesday 19th July 2011 - 7.30am - 11am at Riverside, Congleton
Responding to feedback from local businesses, charities and social enterprises, Cheshire East Council is keen to support and guide our businesses to better understand how to do tender for work with us and other public sector organisations. The procurement training workshops run earlier this year were oversubscribed and have received some tremendous feedback.
This workshop is aimed at organisations who have no experience or limited experience of tendering for Public Sector work – demystifying the language used and the processes in prequalification questionnaires (PQQs).
At this workshop businesses can learn more about:
How to ensure their business is tender ready
Understanding the processes and
- What is involved in putting a tender together
Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment – contact Jacqueline Wilson, Business Engagement Co-ordinator, Cheshire East Council, 01270 685911 or Jacqueline.wilson@cheshireeast.gov.uk.
Melanie has a wealth of experience of successfully winning Public Sector contracts for a diverse range of organizations. These contracts have ranged in value from a few thousand pounds to millions. Melanie has recently won the Best Social Enterprise Partnership Award and is the proud winner of the Prime Minister’s Big Society Award 2011.
