A head start in networking for new businesses in Wigan
The first year or two can make or break a new business. Good networking can be key to its success…
That’s why business advice and training organisation Blue Orchid and Wigan Council’s Way to Work programme are running a free networking event for the borough’s new businesses.
All Wigan borough-based businesses established for less than three years are invited to attend on Tuesday 12 July. The event runs from 6-9pm in the DW Stadium’s sponsor’s lounge.
The event will feature presentations from HM Revenue and Customs, networking expert Ben Pollard who has previously worked for Nat West and Wigan Council’s Cllr David Molyneux.
The council's deputy leader and economy champion Cllr Molyneux says, “We’re proud to be backing local business. This event is sure to create many new networking opportunities for borough businesses and in turn boost our local economy.”
Paul Ward of Blue Orchid said: “We are delighted to work in partnership with local business and with Wigan Council and support local trade in any way we can. I look forward to meeting with the borough’s traders on the evening.”
Places are limited, so please book in good time to avoid disappointment.
